So you just unboxed a brand new board game and discovered that some of the plastic game pieces are warped!
Although not common, it certainly does happen. In Necromolds, our deluxe distance tools and Call to Arms components are made from a softer, flexible plastic. While the soft plastic makes the pieces safe to handle, it also makes them more susceptible to shipping or storage warp.
Luckily the fix is really easy!
THINGS YOU NEED:
- Pot of hot water
- Pot of cold water
- Tongs, needle nose pliers, or something similar
FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
- Heat up a bowl or pot of hot water. The more rigid the plastic, the hotter the water will need to be.
- Safely dip the plastic piece into the hot water for several seconds. Be careful not to burn yourself!
- Carefully remove the plastic piece from the hot water and reshape it, correcting the warp.
- Quickly dip the reshaped plastic piece into cold water.
That's it!
Watch me follow these exact same steps in the video below, where I share how to resize the Necromolds Caster Rings for larger fingers!
